The 8th annual American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Montana State University is set for Friday, March 30, starting at 6 p.m. in the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse.

Relay For Life is an event intended to celebrate the lives of those who have had cancer, remember those lost, and fight back against the disease. Individuals and teams will gather at the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse with the goal of keeping at least one team member on the track at all times throughout the evening. Team members do most of their fundraising prior to the event, but some teams also hold creative fundraisers at the relay.

Event organizers say that the night is filled with food, fun entertainment, basketball, dodge ball and numerous other amusing activities to entertain students. Also taking place throughout the night is a luminaria ceremony and survivor ceremony.

Teams can sign up on Facebook by searching for MSU Bozeman Relay For Life or by visitng www.msubozemanrelay.org. Team registration fees before March 1 are $75 and are $100 after that.
