Montana State University's Chorale vocal performance group will tour Harlowton, Billings and Miles City Feb. 28-March 2.

The 48-member group will perform at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 28, at Harlowton High School. Students from students from Ryegate and Judith Gap will also attend. The group will also perform at 7 p.m. Feb. 28 at Billings' St. Patrick's Cathedral, 215 North 31st Street.

The Chorale will perform at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, in the billings Skyview High School Auditorium. On Wednesday, March 2, the Chorale will perform at 7 p.m. at the Custer County High School Auditorium in Miles City.

At each location, choir members will rehearse with high school students during the day in preparation for the evening concert.

"The purpose of the tour is to support and encourage music performance in Montana's public schools and to help high school students discover opportunities they could have as future students at MSU," said Kirk Aamot, the director of the Chorale and professor of music at MSU.

A post-concert alumni and friend reception will be held at St. Patrick's Cathedral following the Feb. 28 concert. The reception is free.

A reception will also be held at the Main Street Grind in Miles City from 5-7 p.m., prior to the March 2 concert. Tickets are $10 and will be sold at the door.
