Comedian Steve Byrne will perform on Tuesday, March 8, at 7 p.m. in the SUB Ballrooms.

Byrne has been featured on Comedy Central several times. His one-hour special, "Steve Byrne's Happy Hour," was voted the 17th most popular Comedy Central stand-up of all time. Byrne's latest one-hour special, "The Byrne Identity," has received rave reviews since its release.

The event is free and open to the public and is best for people aged 18 and older. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the show will begin at 7 p.m.

ASMSU organized the event to encourage students to be active on campus and take part in voting for the next ASMSU president, vice president and senators. After the show, students are invited to join Byrne in Ballroom B for a reception and to continue voting.

The event is sponsored by ASMSU, Campus Entertainment and the MSU Leadership Institute.
