The Leadership Institute will host a free screening of "Waiting for Superman" on Wednesday, April 13, at 7 p.m. in the Procrastinator Theater.

Winner of the Audience Award at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival, "Waiting for Superman" analyzes the public education program in the United States by following several students through the educational system. Presenting a system that produces as many drop-outs as graduates, filmmaker Davis Guggenheim suggests to viewers that America's school system is in crisis and is failing millions of students. The documentary emphasizes the importance of improvement not only for students, but also for America's economic future.

The film screening is free and open to the public.
