The Montana State University Department of Music will present "Happy Songs," a free Sunday Night Multimedia Series concert featuring electro-acoustic music, lighting design, and instrumental performance by MSU students, at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, April 17, in the Black Box Theatre, Visual Communications Building, on the MSU campus.

The event will feature Music Technology senior projects by Clayton DeSimone, Justin Gannon, Dan Haywood, Sam Heuck, Kent Johnson, Dodge Kramer, Reid Loessberg, Lissette Norman, and Zac Wallace, with instrumental performances on violin, oboe, double bass, keyboards, percussion, rock band, members of MSU's Gamelan Sekar Gunung, and a duet performed by Stephen Versaevel and a marimba-playing robot.

As always, the Sunday Night Multimedia Series will be presented with live sound diffusion through a multichannel speaker system. The concert is sponsored by the MSU Music Technology program, home of the Bachelor of Arts in Music Technology.
