BOZEMAN - A four-hour class on Wednesday, May 11, will help small business expand their marketing power by collaborating with other businesses.

The class, "Collaborative Business Marketing," is offered by Montana State University's Extended University and will take place from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Extended University's Downtown Education Center, located at 20 E. Olive Street.

Participants will be introduced to how businesses have helped one another grow by pooling resources and cross-promoting one another and learn how to evaluate opportunities and assess the suitability of potential partners. Participants can expect to brainstorm marketing efforts and partners that might be suitable for their own situations.

The course is $59; discounts are available for members of the Bozeman or Big Sky Chamber of Commerce or Prospera Business Network. Professional CEU's are also available.

The instructor is Rich Semenik, former dean of the MSU College of Business.
