BOZEMAN - Field days are scheduled in June and July throughout Montana at the Montana Agricultural Experiment Station Agricultural Research Centers. Field days give producers and interested parties an opportunity to learn about facilities and research at Montana State University's Agricultural Research Centers. They are open to the public.

Tuesday, June 28, the Northern Ag Research Center's annual field day will begin at 8:30 a.m. The center is located about seven miles southwest of Havre on U.S. Highway 87. (406) 265-6115.

Wednesday, June 29, the Western Triangle Ag Research Center Field Day starts at 9 a.m. WTARC is located at 9546 Old Shelby Road in Conrad. (406) 278-7707.

Thursday, July 7, the Central Ag Research Center annual field day gets going at 9:30 a.m. The center is 2.5 miles west of Moccasin on U.S. Highway 87. (406) 423-5421.

On Tuesday July 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., there will be a crops and weeds field day at Montana State University's Post Research Farm. Attendees can receive Certified Crop Adviser CEU credits and commercial and private applicator pesticide recertification credits.

Registration is $10 and covers refreshments, lunch and handbook. Please pre-register no later than July 7 by contacting Fabian Menalled at (406) 994-4783 or via e-mail to menalled@montana.edu. You can also register at the Post Farm on July 12. The Post Farm is located eight miles west of Bozeman on Highway 191.

Tuesday, July 26, the Eastern Ag Research Center at Sidney will hold a field day beginning at 9 a.m. The center is one mile north of Sidney on U.S. Highway 200. (406) 433-2208.
