Annette finds fulfillment in working with the outstanding students in the Northern Plains Transition to Teaching program and with the schools in which they teach. She is grateful for the opportunity to be a part of preparing NPTT students to be teachers and seeing them achieve their professional goals. Annette holds a B.S. in elementary education from Montana State University, Northern, a M.Ed. in elementary school leadership, and Ed.D. in educational leadership, both from Montana State University, Bozeman. She taught elementary grades K-8 in Los Angeles and rural Montana and served as an elementary principal in a rural Montana school. Since 1995, she has lived in Bozeman raising children, working at MSU and volunteering in numerous organizations. Close to her heart are global social justice issues, especially those that affect women and children. For diversions she enjoys reading (history, cookbooks, classics, contemporary fiction), road biking, kitchen fun of all sorts, anything involving yeast, listening to a good podcast, and gardening.
