Year 1
Year 1 of Northern Plains Transition to Teaching is a very exciting and busy time! The "academic year" spans approximately 26 weeks and consists of three eight-week courses with a one week break in between each course. We begin four cohorts of students per academic year beginning in September, December, February, and April.
Year 2
During Year 2 of the NPTT Program you have the opportunity to begin your teaching practicum. If you choose not to participate in a practicum during year two, that is acceptable as well.
Year 3
If admitted to the NPTT Master of Education program, during Year 3 you have the option to complete the degree requirements. Please see the file below for more details and policies.
