Two Nursing Seniors Named Janssen Student Scholars

The College of Nursing congratulates nursing seniors Shauna Peek (Great Falls campus) and Rikki Saunders (Missoula campus) on being named as Janssen Student Scholars. The Janssen Student Scholar Program is offered through APNA (American Psychiatric Nurses Association) to give students an opportunity to learn about leadership in Psychiatric Nursing. The scholar program is supported by Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Janssen Elder Care and APNA and offers selected students the chance to attend the APNA annual national convention, this year held in October in Atlanta. The scholarship covers travel expenses, hotel, conference fees, and meals. In addition, the scholarship program provides each student a year s membership in APNA. Each year only 30 students are chosen nation-wide. Congratulations Shauna and Rikki!
