Three CON Students Honored by NANAINA

Tina Red Star Henricks, Jessyca Small and Brocade Stops, NANAINA 2004 Merit Award Recipients
On September 18th at the recently held SUMMIT X conference of the (National Alaska Native American Indian Nurses Association (NANAINA) meeting, three MSU College of Nursing students, Tina Red Star Henricks, Jessyca Small and Brocade Stops, were honored by attendees as the NANAINA 2004 Merit Award Recipients and received checks from the organization for $750 each and a drum and honoring song. In addition to the monetary tribute to the scholastic achievement of these students their leadership potential and character were also recognized. These students were the only undergraduate students in the nation to be so honored.
