Currently, the college is seeking faculty eligible for tenure track positions, beginning fall semester of the 2007-2008 academic year. The following interest areas are preferred: a) Billings campus - medical surgical or maternal child nursing, or b) Bozeman campus - medical surgical or community health nursing. Faculty members have opportunities for teaching in both the undergraduate community-based curriculum and graduate programs. Tenured/tenure track faculty members are expected to establish a focused program of research and to successfully seek extramural funding. Research efforts are supported through the College of Nursing Office of Research and Scholarship, workload adjustment, and a small block grant program. All members of the faculty are expected to engage in professional/college/university service and to provide nursing leadership in Montana and beyond through active participation in professional nursing organizations.
