Margy Burgess Peterson Memorial Scholarship
PURPOSE OF SCHOLARSHIP:
A scholarship fund set up by Major James Peterson in memory of his wife, Margy Burgess Peterson, who died at age 31 of a brain aneurysm. She worked as a nurse at Columbus Hospital in Great Falls. The trust is administered by the MSU-Bozeman Foundation.

- Recipients must be registered in the nursing curriculum.
- Recipients must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5.

It has been requested by John Burgess, father of Margy Burgess Peterson, that a thank you letter be sent to him by the recipient of the scholarship. Correspondence to Mr. Burgess should be sent via first class mail. Copies of all correspondence to the recipient and donor will be kept in Bozeman with the central scholarship files.
The Undergraduate Program Assistant is responsible for processing the Scholarship Authorization Form.
