NAME OF SCHOLARSHIP: Montana Pioneer Nurses Memorial Scholarship
PURPOSE OF SCHOLARSHIP:
A scholarship fund originally established by James Hill (now deceased) to celebrate the pioneering spirit of Mildred Hill and her colleagues and friends who served as compassionate, dedicated nurses to rural Montana. The scholarship money has been placed in an account at the Foundation.
NUMBER OF AWARDS: One minimum
VALUE: $1000 per student
- Upper division undergraduate pursuing a degree from the College of Nursing
Preference for rising seniors and students from Hill County, Montana or Flathead County, Montana
- If no prospective recipients identified, the college may award the scholarship at its discretion
- Renewable for a 2nd year of study provided the recipient continues to fulfill the requirements of award
