Scholarships
The nursing scholarship process has started for Fall 2010-Spring 2011. Application deadline is November 20, 2009. Following is a list of the scholarship representatives on each campus:

All applications will be turned into your campus scholarship representative no later than November 20th. Scholarships will be awarded in March.

Please note:
- Essays are required. Please submit an essay that includes each of the following criteria:
- What is nursing’s biggest challenge today from your viewpoint
- Your financial need
- Something unique about you
- List 2-3 other attributes or achievements
Essays can be no longer than one page in 12 point font. Please make sure that you read the criteria for each scholarship carefully as some individual scholarships have its own essay criteria that needs to be addressed. Also, some of the scholarships are selected by faculty recommendation and need to have the faculty recommendation form completed and attached.
- Interested students should fill out a form for each scholarship(s) they are interested in along with their name and address information and turn it in to the campus representative along with their essay and student involvement log. If students are applying for more than one scholarship, the material should be submitted in the following order:
- Scholarship Application for each scholarship applied for
- Essay (1 only unless you are submitting an application for a scholarship with specific essay requirements other than those listed above)
- Student Involvement Log (1 only)
- Transcript (1 only)
- Recipients of the scholarships will be determined in March. Only recipients will be notified by mail if they have received a scholarship
- Receiving a scholarship will affect students’ financial aid
