Charge
The MAP Advisory Committee shall serve as a source of input, analysis, and campus representation for Personnel and Payroll Services. The Committee will assist Personnel and Payroll Services with an ongoing assessment of the actual and/or potential impacts of various elements of the MAP program, both as they currently exist, as well as those being considered and/or proposed for future adoption. In addition, the Committee will suggest methods to improve the MAP program, and other related performance development programs and processes.

Meetings
Quarterly or as determined by the Committee, the Chair, or the Director of Personnel and Payroll Services

Membership
The President shall appoint the following voting members: two classified union representatives and one classified union exempt representative from nominations submitted by the Vice Presidents.
Additional voting members shall be included by invitation from the President: two supervisors from the MSU Labor/Management Committee and two employees from the MSU Labor/Management Committee.
By invitation of the President, one union representative from MPEA and one union representative from a MAP-covered bargaining unit other than MPEA will be invited to serve in an Ex officio capacity.
The Chair of the MAP Advisory Committee shall be a voting member appointed by the President from nominations submitted by the Director of Personnel and Payroll Services.
*The Director of Personnel and Payroll Services shall be a non-voting member.

Length of Term
The initial committee shall serve for staggered terms of either one, two or three years. Upon the expiration of terms or resignations, subsequent appointments shall be for a term of three years.
