Note:
Per Board of Regent policy 801.5:
The Friday following Thanksgiving is designated a holiday for all Montana University System employees in exchange for Columbus Day.
The Commissioner of Higher Education may designate any of the following business days as holidays for all employees of a campus in exchange for the same number of legal holidays enumerated in 1-1-216, MCA;
a) the Monday before Christmas Day or New Year's Day if either holiday falls on Tuesday, or
b) the Friday after Christmas Day or New Year's Day if either holiday falls on Thursday.
Columbus Day has been exchanged for the Friday following Thanksgiving
President's Day has been exchanged for the Monday before Christmas Day
