Training Title Shipping and Transport of Regulated Biological Materials
Description This training is given as of a presentation and covers topics such as: government regulations for biohazards material transport, what constitutes dangerous goods, procedure for shipping dangerous goods, identification & classification of infectious agents, classes of dangerous goods, proper packing, marking packages containing infectious agents, category A & B shipping process, shipping genetically modified organisms, import/export permits, emergency measures, and security guidelines. A short quiz will also be given.
Completion Information Upon completion of this training attendees will be authorized to ship biohazardous materials.
