Whitewater Guide School & Swiftwater Rescue , MSU & Surrounding Rivers

Interested in learning how to guide a raft? Interested in participating in a certified Swiftwater Rescue Training course? Join the Outdoor Program during our whitewater guide school and swift water rescue course! This is the first step towards becoming a trip coordinator for our whitewater trips program, and a great investment if you are interested in recreating in the river environment. Presented in partnership with Swiftwater Safety Institute.

Cost=$350

Includes: Transportation, equipment, Instruction and certification fees.

Cost generally includes transportation, group equipment and organizational expenses. Participants are responsible for personal gear, meals, clothing and other indvidual needs. Each trip has minimum and maximum limits. Outings are open to MSU students, faculty, staff and university affiliates. Guests and public may also participate on a limited basis. Payment in full is required at the time of registration unless a non-refundable deposit is indicated (*). Refunds will not be issued for day trips or deposits unless the event is canceled by ASMSU Outdoor Recreation. Reservation Deposit for Multi-Day trips is non-refundable. Remaining balance will be issued as shop credit if received 48 hours before pre-trip meeting.
