Chris has been utilizing precision agriculture for six of his 35 years in farming. He produces wheat and barley in no-till and fallow rotation cycles east of Great Falls, Montana as a partner in the Zoller Farms. He utilizes the Trimble Autopilot system and uses Farmworks software for mapping field boundaries, weed locations and interpreting data. Precision agriculture has been beneficial to his operation by saving on herbicide application and serving as an excellent record-keeping tool.
