209CR0004883 8/30/09 0518 8/30/09 0518 Noise complaint – a caller reported people conversing loudly. Branegan Court Officers responded and advised the individuals to quiet down.  Case closed.
209CR0004877 8/29/09 2341 8/29/09 2341 911 call – someone called 911 and then hung-up. 600 block of S. 12th Street. Officers responded and made contact with the caller.  The caller said that he must have accidentally dialed 911.  There was no emergency.  Case closed.
209CR0004876 8/29/09 2327 8/29/09 2327 Noise complaint – a caller reported loud party noise. 1321 South 5th Ave. Officers responded and made contact with residents of the house.  The residents agreed to shut the party down.  Case closed.
209CR0004874 8/29/09 2320 8/29/09 2320 Partner or Family Member Assault (PFMA) – a domestic disturbance was reported to be in progress. Julia Martin East Officers responded and following an investigation, a male was placed under arrest for PFMA.  Case closed. 
209CR0004868 8/29/09 2045 8/29/09 2045 911 call – a male called 911 and explained to dispatch that he had misdialed. South Hedges Hall. Officers responded and verified that there was no emergency.  Case closed.
209CR0004846 8/29/09 0052 8/29/09 0052 MIP - a male was found by officers to be in possession of a can of beer while under the age of 21.  S. 5th Ave. & Hayes St. The male was warned for MIP and will be referred to the Dean of Students.  Case closed.

209CR0004843 8/28/09 2309 8/28/09 2309 MIP – a female was found by officers to be in possession of a can of beer while under the age of 21. 400 block of Grant Street The female was cited for MIP and released.  Case closed.
209CR0004837 8/28/09 2202 8/28/09 2202 Obstructing a Peace Officer – an officer spotted a male carrying a can of beer and asked him to stop.  The male then ran away. Grant St. & S. 3rd Ave. Case active, pending further investigation.
209CR0004834 8/28/09 2033 8/28/09 2033 Noise complaint – a caller reported loud party noise coming from the Kappa Sigma Fraternity.  Officers determined that the noise was in fact coming from another address. 1200 block of S. 6th Street Officers warned the residents and advised them to quiet down.  Case closed.
209CR0004831 8/28/09 1628 8/28/09 0200 - 1400 Theft – four banners were taken from Catapalooza tables. MSU Mall One banner was located near the duck pond.  Case closed, pending further investigative leads.
209CR0004829 8/28/09 1419 8/28/09 1419 Fire – the contents of a trash can were found to be smoldering.  Johnstone Hall (exterior) Officers emptied the trash can and determined that a cigarette was the cause.  Case closed.
209CR0004816 8/28/09 0252 8/28/09 0252 Possession of Dangerous Drugs (PODD) – Officers located an intoxicated male who had marijuana in his possession. North Hedges Lot The male was cited for PODD and warned for MIP.  Case closed.   
209CR0004812 8/28/09 0153 8/28/09 0153 Criminal Trespass – Officers found a male and a female inside the Bobcat Stadium. Bobcat Stadium The individuals said they were looking for a quiet place to talk.  Officers warned them for criminal trespass and escorted them from the stadium.  Case closed.
209CR0004810 8/28/09 0106 8/28/09 0106 Fireworks – an officer observed several individuals igniting fireworks. Antelope lot Officers made contact with the individuals and issued them a warning.  Case closed.
209CR0004807 8/27/09 2314 8/27/09 2314 911 call – someone called 911 and then hung-up.  1300 Block of S. 5th Ave. Officers responded and met with the caller who stated that the call was a misdial.  There was no emergency.  Case closed.
209CR0004806 8/27/09 2309 8/27/09 2309 Suspicious incident – an officer met with an individual who is concerned that someone may want to do them harm. MSU Campus Case active, pending further investigation.
209CR0004787 8/27/09 0239 8/27/09 0239 Criminal mischief – an MSU employee witnessed two males throw a bike seat into a window, shattering the glass. EPS

Officers responded and searched the area.  The suspects were not located. Case closed.

209CR0004785 8/27/09 0130 8/27/09 0130 Noise complaint – a woman reported hearing a loud thumping noise coming from an adjacent apartment. Julia Martin East Officers responded and made contact with the residents of the apartment where the noise was coming from.  The residents agreed to quiet down.  Case closed.
209CR0004783 8/27/09 0045 8/27/09 0045 Warrant arrest – an officer stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation and discovered that an arrest warrant had been issued for the driver. 400 block of W. Cleveland Street. The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Gallatin County Detention Center.  Case closed.

209CR0004742 8/25/09 0317 8/25/09 0317 Welfare Check – a man requested that a welfare check be conducted on his sister. South Hedges The man’s sister was contacted and it was determined that she was not in need of assistance.
209CR0004741 8/25/09 0255 8/25/09 0255 911 call – a 911 call was received and the caller stated that they had accidentally misdialed. Julia Martin East Officers responded to the address and confirmed that there was no emergency.
209CR0004740 8/25/09 0211 8/25/09 0211 DUI – an officer stopped a vehicle for erratic driving.  An investigation determined that the driver was under the influence of alcohol. 600 block of Cleveland Street The driver was cited for DUI and released at his home.

Branegan Court Officers responded.  Following an investigation, officers advised the two parties to separate for the next 24 hours, and they complied.

209CR0004434 8/8/09 0036 8/8/09 0036 Law enforcement assist – Bozeman PD requested assistance in setting up a perimeter to search for a robbery suspect. S. 6th Ave. & Olive St. An officer responded and assisted.  The suspect was not located.
209CR0004422 8/7/09 1200 8/7/09 1200 Welfare check – it was reported that a man wearing no shoes had nearly walked in front of a moving vehicle. Family & Graduate Housing Office Officers responded and made contact with the individual.  It was determined that the man was not in need of assistance.

209CR0004349 8/3/09 0844 8/3/09 0844 Law enforcement assist – Bozeman PD requested that an MSU officer respond to the Bozeman Comfort Inn to unlock a vehicle.  The owner was in need of medications inside the vehicle and had locked his keys inside. 1300 block of North 7th Ave. An officer responded and unlocked the vehicle.
209CR0004348 8/3/09 0251 8/3/09 0251 Noise complaint – it was reported that a male was singing very loudly and playing the guitar. MacIntosh Court Officers made contact with people in the apartment and warned them for the noise.
209CR0004345 8/3/09 0035 8/3/09 0035 Law enforcement assist – Bozeman PD informed MSU PD dispatch that they were looking for two males for a welfare check, and asked that officers check an address on campus that the two have been known to frequent. Grant Chamberlain Drive Officers went to the address and no one answered the door. 
209CR0004344 8/3/09 0021 8/3/09 0021 Warrant arrest – an officer stopped a vehicle for a stop sign violation and discovered that there was a warrant for the arrest of the driver. S. 11th Ave. & Kagy Blvd The driver was placed under arrest for the warrant and transported to the Gallatin County Detention Center.
209CR0004330 8/2/09 0415 8/2/09 0415 Noise complaint – A woman reported a group of intoxicated people being loud. Paisley Court An officer responded and determined that the people were not intoxicated.  He advised the group to quiet down. 
209CR0004327 8/2/09 0211 8/2/09 0211 MIP – Two males were found to have been consuming alcohol while under the age of 21. Kagy Blvd & Tracy Ave. Both males were warned for MIP and will be referred to the dean of students.
