209CR0004167 7/25/09 1604 7/25/09 1604 Public Nuisance – a man was found walking in his underwear in the vicinity of his neighbors, several of whom were children. 600 block of Harrison Street The man was arrested for public nuisance and taken to the Bozeman Deaconess Hospital for a psychological evaluation.
209CR0004128 7/24/09 0130 7/24/09 0130 Law Enforcement Assist – Bozeman PD requested that MSU Officers respond to a fight in progress. Maple and Lincoln Officers responded and detained several individuals and assisted Bozeman PD with the investigation.
209CR0004126 7/24/09 0130 7/24/09 0130 Warrant arrest – during a traffic stop an officer discovered that an arrest warrant had been issued for one of the occupants of the vehicle. S. 19th Ave. & Main St. The individual was arrested for the warrant and transported to the Gallatin County Detention Center.
209CR0004115 7/23/09 1922 7/23/09 1922 Law Enforcement Assist – Bozeman PD requested that MSU officers respond to a burglar alarm. Professional Drive – Batteries Plus Officers responded and determined that the alarm was false.

209CR0004106 7/23/09 1029 7/23/09 1029 Forgery – a vehicle displaying a forged MSU parking hang-tag was discovered.  The vehicle was towed to the MSU impound lot. Antelope Lot The owner was warned for forgery and fined for displaying a forged hang-tag.

Theft – an MSU employee reported that an MSU Concessions golf cart had been stolen. MSU Fieldhouse (exterior) An investigation yielded the recovery of the golf cart.  No suspects were located.  Case closed.
209CR0003954 7/15/09 0953 7/15/09 Lost property – a new student orientation participant reported that he lost his wallet. MSU Campus Case closed with report taken.
209CR0003951 7/15/09 0047 7/15/09 0030 Assault – a female reported being tackled by a male as she was leaving a party because she took a bottle of alcohol from the party. 1200 block of South 5th Ave. The female decided that she did not wish to file charges.  Case closed.

209CR0003931 7/13/09 2302 7/13/09 2302 Obstructing a Peace Officer – As officers were investigating a disturbance, a suspect repeatedly refused to follow officers’ instructions and impeded the investigation.  Paisley Court Officers placed the suspect under arrest for obstructing a peace officer and an open container violation.  The suspect was transported to the Gallatin County Detention Center.

Law enforcement assist – the Bozeman Police Department requested assistance in handling a domestic dispute.

Warrant arrest – during a traffic stop an officer discovered that an arrest warrant had been issued for the driver.

1800 block of Kagy Blvd. The driver was arrested on the warrant and taken to the Gallatin County Detention Center.  The driver was also issued a citation for no insurance.
209CR0003855 7/10/09 1436 7/10/09 1436 Criminal Trespass – it was reported that two individuals were jumping bicycles off of a balcony at a sorority house. S. 6th Ave. An officer responded and made contact with the bicyclists.  It was determined that no property had been damaged, and the officer gave the two individuals a verbal warning for criminal trespass. 
209CR0003854 7/10/09 1223 7/10/09 1223 911 call – someone called 911 and then hung up.  Museum of the Rockies Officers responded and determined that an employee attempting to make a long distance call had accidentally dialed 911.
209CR0003852 7/10/09 1515 7/10/09 1515 Suspicious incident – an individual reported that someone had vandalized a door. Howard Hall Officers concluded that the damage to the door was the result of normal wear from heavy use.
209CR0003845 7/10/09 0409 7/10/09 0409 Suspicious incident – an individual reported that someone was trying to key into an apartment that is vacant. Julia Martin Drive. Officers determined that an intoxicated individual had mistakenly tried to key into the wrong apartment.

Noise complaint- reporting party called regarding a  noise complaint Grant Chamberlain Officers arrived on scene-parties were dispersed and warned for noise.

Paisley Court Officers responded and ordered the individuals to quiet down and warned them for open container violations.  One individual was issued a trespass warning for Family & Graduate Housing.
