209CR0007217 11/20/09 2305 11/20/09 2305 Defecating in public – an officer observed an intoxicated female defecating in the snow beside a sidewalk.  When approached by the officer, the female attempted to walk away, but forgot to pull up her pants and fell into the snow, exposing her buttocks to passersby. 1200 block of West College street. The officer cited the female for MIP and warned her for defecating in public and indecent exposure.  Another female who was with her was also cited for MIP.  Case closed.

209CR0007201 11/20/09 0902 11/20/09 0902 Disturbance – dispatch received a report of a male and female arguing in a vehicle. 1700 block of Greek Way Officers responded and the two parties had already separated.  An investigation did not reveal any evidence of a physical altercation.  Case closed.

North Hedges Lobby Officers responded and met with the man.  He stated that he had just taken the rifle to his vehicle to store at a friend’s house.  Officers went to his vehicle and inspected the rifle; it was unloaded.  Case closed.

Grant Chamberlain Drive Officers responded to the scene along with emergency medical services.  The student was transported to the Bozeman Deaconess Hospital for treatment.  Case closed.

Grant Chamberlain An officer responded and located the apartment that was the source of the loud music.  No one answered the door, and a neighbor stated that the resident was not home.  Case closed with referral to MSU Family & Graduate housing.

Roskie Parking Lot One individual was cited for MIP and the individual who ran will be located and cited for obstructing a peace officer and resisting arrest, as officers know this person’s identity from previous interactions.  Case active pending contact with runner.

S. 11th Ave. & Kagy Blvd. The driver was placed under arrest on the warrant and transported to the Gallatin County Detention Center.  Case closed.

Paisley Court An officer responded and determined that the music was in fact not very loud.  When told that it was disturbing someone, the neighbor agreed to turn the music down anyway.  Case closed.

209CR0006836 11/4/09 2325 11/4/09 2325 MIP – an officer observed an individual riding a skateboard swerve erratically, nearly colliding with oncoming vehicles.  The officer stopped the individual and determined them to be under the influence of alcohol while under the age of 21. South 11th Ave. & Grant Street The individual was then issued a citation for MIP and referred to the dean of students.

209CR0006828 11/4/09 1629 11/4/09 1629 Animal bite – an individual reported that they had been bitten by a dog while riding their bicycle on campus. Leon Johnson Hall (south side exterior) The individual did speak with the owner of the dog, but did not get the owner’s name or contact information.  An officer completed an animal bite report form and advised the victim to see a physician.  Case closed.

209CR0006815 11/3/09 2217 11/3/09 2217 Fireworks – members of a fraternity called and reported that two males had set off firecrackers on their front porch and then fled on mountain bikes. 800 Block of South  7th Ave. Officers responded and checked the area, but were unable to locate the suspects.  The fireworks caused no damage.  Extra patrol will be conducted in the area.  Case closed.

McIntosh Court Officers responded.  Following an investigation, the reporting party’s mother was cited for PFMA and transported to the Gallatin County Detention Center.  Case closed.

209CR0006746 11/1/09 0112 11/1/09 0112 Suspicious incident – an officer observed a male walking near a residence carrying a rifle in his hand.  When questioned, the man stated that someone had just broken the rear window of his house, and he was checking the area. 1200 block of West College St. The Bozeman Police Department was notified of the incident.  Case closed.
