209CR0005831 9/29/09 1734 9/29/09 1734 Found property – a Residence Life front desk attendant brought a pair of jeans containing a belt and a wallet to the MSU Police Department.  She said that a student turned them in, and that they had originally been found in a field. 209CR0005047 9/4/09 2158 9/4/09 2158 Warrant arrest – while investigating a motor vehicle accident, an officer determined that a warrant had been issued for the arrest of one of the individuals involved. McIntosh Court The driver was placed under arrest for the warrant and transported to the Gallatin County Detention Center.  Case closed.

209CR0005017 9/3/09 2309 9/3/09 2309 Noise complaint – loud noise was reported to be coming from a house across the street from Johnstone Center. 800 block of S. 8th Street. Officers responded to the residence and issued a warning for loud noise. Case closed.

209CR0005007 9/3/09 1509 9/3/09 1509 Found Property – an MSU staff member told police officers that a pipe had been left on a bench. Hapner Hall (exterior) Officers determined that the pipe had been used to smoke marijuana.  The pipe was destroyed.  Case closed.

209CR0004944 9/1/09 0928 9/1/09 0928 Hit & Run MVA – a witness reported seeing a driver hit a parked vehicle while pulling into a parking space.  The witness said that the driver then walked away without leaving contact information. South Fieldhouse lot The owner of the suspect vehicle was located and cited for leaving the scene of an accident without leaving identifying information.
