A new grandson
The highlight of Laurie Howell's winter holiday was the birth of her grandson, Soren Lane Clark, in Longmont, Colo. Laurie reports: "Soren arrived three weeks early but is happy and healthy in his new home." Laurie is fiscal manager and program specialist for Montana INBRE on our Bozeman campus.
A new puppy
Daryl Monroe-Bilotti writes that her family's new Weimaraner was born at Christmas and will be ready to join the family -- which includes other Weimaraners Hans and Sky -- at the end of February. They're considering calling the puppy Luna. Daryl works in the Office of Legal Counsel at MSU-Bozeman.
Winter getaway
Michael Sanderson, President and CEO of Sanderson Stewart in Billings, shared this photo of his daughter, Quinn, and son, North, on the family's holiday trip to Thailand.
Time with the family
MSU-Billings' University Budget Director Trudy Collins celebrated Christmas in Billings with her family, including her five-month-old grandson, Seth, pictured here. Trudy says that she and her husband, Steve, are glad to be back in Billings after five years in North Dakota.
"Lobster Dogs"
Toni Rule shared this photo taken over the winter holidays of the latest antics of Za, Frankie and Odell, her "lobster dogs." Toni works at the College of Nursing on our Bozeman campus.
A new niece
Meta Newhouse met her new niece, Luna Beatrice, over the holidays. Meta is an assistant professor of art at MSU-Bozeman.
A well-earned cruise
Stephen and Jennifer Sofie recently took an eight-day cruise to celebrate his recent promotion and tenure. The two are pictured here on the city wall by San Cristobal Castle in San Juan, Puerto Rico, which was one of their ports. Stephen is an associate professor in mechanical engineering and Jennifer is an adjunct assistant professor in the College of Nursing, both on our Bozeman campus.
