Theme: Germinate and Cultivate
For this conference, we will be keeping with the spirit of our flegdling publication, talking of new ideas, new cultures, new understandings, and discussing their development — in the past, the future, or in front of our faces. READ THIS was started in late 2006, and it is still growing.We will be focusing on the understanding that events and changes in our world are developed from novice ideas and must be cultivated and driven if they are to make any effect in history. READ THIS fights to keep literature and arts at the core of modern consciousness, and believes that it is a starting point for change. The nation we live in, the predjudices we face, and the preconceptions we hold were all new at sometime, often with the hand of literature in the center of the action.
