A student must be registered at Montana State University during the semester of their graduation. If the student is not required to take any additional courses at MSU during their final semester, and therefore the student does not take any courses during their final semester, the student must submit an In Absentia Registration Form and pay the $30.00 registration fee.

In Absentia forms must be received before the end of the third week of the semester prior to the graduation semester.

Mail the completed, signed In Absentia form and $30 registration fee--check or money-order payable to Montana State University--to:
