Support Development of Interdisciplinary Research/Creativity Awards |
November 15, 2010 Awardees
Five proposals were submitted for the November 2010 deadline requesting funds to help develop interdisciplinary research/creative proposals. The committee of Joe Fedock, Tom McCoy, and Cathy Whitlock selected one proposal for funding provided by the VP Research and EPSCoR offices. The successful proposal (1) articulated well-developed interdisciplinary linkages and compelling science; (2) was a good match for the particular interdisciplinary grant solicitation; (3) offered a reasonable timeline for full submission with clear specification of funding needs; and (4) assembled a strong team of researchers from MSU. It fulfilled the evaluation criteria of being broadly interdisciplinary, building capacity, and offering a strong plan for developing a proposal with good chance of success| PI; Co PIs | Department | Title of Project |
