Hannon

Hannon Hall is a cozy all-female hall located just footsteps away from MSU's academic buildings. Residents appreciate the camaraderie, safety and peacefulness Hannon offers. Hannon Hall houses one of the most popular dining halls on campus, with a fantastic variety of entrees. Due to its popularity, Hannon is made up of many upperclassmen who have returned to the hall for a second, third, and fourth year.

Living Options:

Double, single, and double-as-single rooms are available to students living in Hannon. Special living options include Health Professions & Nursing, Sophomore and Above, and Science & Engineering theme floors.

The Science & Engineering floor is an enhanced group academic living environment for students majoring in Science or Engineering. This specialized living arrangement eases the stress of these demanding and competitive majors. Benefits to students living on the Science & Engineering floor may include such things as in-hall test preparation, faculty presentations, personal development workshops, tutoring, and other on-site resources depending on the needs of the students.

The Health Professions & Nursing Theme Floor is an enhanced group academic living environment for students exploring majors in the medical field. This specialized living arrangement eases the transition for students to campus life. Benefits to students living on the Health Professions & Nursing floor may include such things as in-hall test preparation, career planning, personal development workshops, tutoring, and other on-site resources depending on the needs of the students.

Hannon provides extra long twin beds that can be bunked and lofted (loft plans can be obtained from this site), sinks, desks, desk chairs, storage space, and vinyl flooring.

All external doors are locked from 10pm – 7am; night guest check-in is available. Hannon has a male escort policy between the hours of 10pm and 7am daily.

Hannon Residence Hall Association (RHA):

Hannon RHA provides many community activities for its residents each year. Some major events include the Beautiful Woman Weekend (mother/daughter weekend), Hannon Date Auction, Tug-O-War, and Duct Tape Your RA. Hannon RHA was awarded the 2000 - 2001 RHA in-hall Event of the Year Award for the Beautiful Woman Weekend.
