Johnstone

Johnstone Hall is the only residence hall exclusive to students over the age of 21. Johnstone houses an academic center that includes a conference style classroom and two academic tutorial rooms, accessible to students 24 hours a day. Johnstone is a popular hall where students return year after year because they feel comfortable and at home.

Features:

  • Game room
  • Weight room
  • Floor lounges
  • TV room
  • Kitchen
  • Computer room
  • Grand piano
  • Solarium
  • Laundry room
  • Free cable TV
  • Direct internet access
  • Harrison Dining Facility is located in Johnstone Center

Special living options:

One of Johnstone’s most appealing qualities is that all of the rooms are single occupancy. Students can choose from a Johnstone Large Single or a Johnstone Small Single. All of the rooms are carpeted and have sinks in them (with the exception of the Colter Basement).

Johnstone rooms have an extra-long twin bed, a desk and desk chair, ample closet space, sinks, dressers, lounge chair, and carpeting.

All external doors are locked from 10pm – 7am; night guest check-in is available.

Johnstone/Mullan Residence Hall Association (RHA):

Johnstone/Mullan offers a variety of events tailored to the needs of its residents. Some of their major events include the Johnstone/Mullan Masquerade Ball, social activities on Saturday nights including raft trips, karaoke and open mic nights. There are many opportunities to get involved and participate in activities in-hall, on-campus and around the local Bozeman community.
