Living Options:

Double and double-as-single rooms are available. Langford offers an Outdoor Pursuits, Science & Engineering and Health Professions & Nursing theme floors are also available.

The Outdoor Pursuits Floors were originally located in Roskie, but were so successful that we decided to provide one in Langford as well. Outdoor Pursuits residents have the opportunity to experience additional outdoor recreational activities and leadership through outdoor experiences.

Majors and careers in Science & Engineering are demanding and competitive. You can give yourself an edge when you choose to live on the Science & Engineering theme floor, as these residents are given the opportunity to attend workshops which supplement their in-class experience. In-hall academic advising and study sessions are also provided.

The Health Professions & Nursing Theme Floor is an enhanced group academic living environment for students exploring majors in the medical field. This specialized living arrangement eases the transition for students to campus life. Benefits to students living on the Health Professions & Nursing floor may include such things as in-hall test preparation, career planning, personal development workshops, tutoring, and other on-site resources depending on the needs of the students.

Langford provides extra long twin beds that can be bunked and lofted (loft plans can be obtained from this site), desks, desk chairs, lounge chairs, and vinyl flooring.

All external doors are locked from 10pm - 7am. Night guest check-in is available. Langford has a female escort policy between the hours of 10pm and 7am daily.

Langford Residence Hall Association (RHA):

Langford is known for its traditionally strong RHA. Some of the events include Halloween trick-or-treating for local elementary schools, the Mistletoe Hop charity dance, Jim Bridger Days winter fest Olympics, and the Homerun Slugfest. Langford was Nationally recognized in December of 2008 for Community of the Month and awarded the 2003-2004 RHA Hall of the Year Award.
