Central Office Staff
Tammie Brown
Director of Residence Life
Tammie's 25 years of Residence Life experience includes 15 years with
MSU. She is responsible for directing and managing Residence Life
staff, programs and services in a manner which enhances the academic and
social success of the students living on campus. Her goal is to provide
a positive and productive experience for students - one that will be filled
with new friendships and opportunities as they make MSU their "home away
from home."
Tammie is a fourth generation Montanan whose grandparents homesteaded
in McCone County. She calls Helena her hometown. Tammie earned a B.S.
in Elementary Education and a M.S. in Personnel & Guidance from Eastern
Montana College, Billings. Being married and the mom to a very active
9-year old boy leaves little time for hobbies. Her time outside of work
is spent with family on outings which include camping, fishing and baseball
games.
Jeff Bondy
Associate Director of Residence Life
In his role as the Associate Director of Residence Life, Jeff assists with
efforts to improve student satisfaction/retention, oversees the campus-wide
community development program, supervises the academic living/learning centers,
and helps provide leadership and supervision to the Residence Life staff. He
received a Masters degree in Public Administration from Montana State University
in May of 2000.
Jeff enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing softball, cheering
for the Bobcats, and listening to music.
Wendy Davison
Assistant Director of Residence Life
In her role as the Assistant Director of Residence Life, Wendy assists with
efforts to improve student satisfaction and retention, supervises central
administrative procedures, coordinates the tasks of Central Office Administrative
Staff, develops and distributes educational programming resources, and helps provide
leadership to the Residence Life staff. Wendy received her Masters degree in
Education-Student Affairs from Montana State University-Billings in May of 2003.
Wendy enjoys camping, hiking, playing sports, and spending time with her husband, family and friends.
VeraKay DeLeon
Program Coordinator
As the Program Coordinator, VeraKay coordinates housing assignments and billing for the residence halls,
generates statistical reports and maintains housing records. She especially enjoys any opportunity to work
directly with students as she facilitates special requests. Her background is in science education and
business management. She also has extensive experience in natural therapies and working with light.
Next to family games, what VeraKay enjoys most is hiking in the mountains, yoga, kirlian photography, and going out with friends.
Dani Jung
Program Coordinator
In her role as the Program Coordinator, Dani coordinates the host program, the tour program, and
break and summer housing. She also assists with customer service and administrative duties in the office.
Dani lived on campus for 2 years and was a Resident Advisor in Hapner Hall. She graduated from MSU in 2003
with a Bachelors of Science - Secondary Education Degree and is currently working on her Master's in Student Affairs.
Outside of work, Dani enjoys camping, hiking, photography, and spending time with her husband, family and friends.
Nancy Day
Administrative Associate II
As a member of the Senior Staff Support Team for 6 years, Nancy is responsible for supporting
the Program Coordinator, the Assistant Director of Residence Life, the Associate Director of
Residence Life, the Director of Residence Life, and the Director of Custodial Services. The
responsibilities of this position are supervised by the Assistant Director of Residence Life
under the supervision of the Director of Residence Life.
Outside of work, Nancy enjoys sewing, volunteer work with Montana Ballet Co, gardening, reading
and spending time with the grandkids. She is also an avid supporter of the Bobcat football and
basketball teams. Nancy has been a resident of Bozeman for 35 years.
Jaime Sumner
Administrative Associate II
In her role as Administrative Associate II, Jaime helps to provide a welcome and inviting front
office environment for students, parents, and staff. In addition, she assists with a variety
of tasks, including updating marketing materials, Academic Center reservations, and day to day
administrative processes.
Jaime graduated from Carroll College in 2005 with a degree in psychology.
She brings with her customer service experience working in Conference Services at Carroll College
and as a loan default prevention counselor for the Montana Guaranteed Student Loan Program. A Montana
native, she enjoys the outdoors, hunting, fishing and live music.
