Originally from Biloxi, Mississippi, Amanda joins us for her fifth year as the Resident Director for Hapner Hall. This year also marks the start of her second year as Coordinator of Staff Selection and Training. In 2003, Amanda obtained an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Photography from Northwest College in Powell, Wyoming. While at Northwest College, Amanda was employed with the Residence Life Office for four years. She started as a Summer Conference Assistant and worked through Resident Assistant, Resident Director, and Interim Housing Coordinator positions. In 2005, Amanda moved to Bozeman to study Business Management here at MSU. She worked in the Residence Life Office for nearly two years before accepting her Resident Director position.

Amanda is looking forward to another great year of meeting her new residents and working through the fun and challenging times ahead…she loves this job! Amanda loves the Bozeman area and the multitude of opportunities that it provides. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring Bozeman, checking out the local eateries, reading, hiking, cycling, photography, and spending time with her husband, family and friends.
