Kayte grew up in La Crosse, WI and while she is starting her second year at Montana State, is beginning her
8th year in Residence Life. Kayte received her Bachelor’s in French and music in 2004 from the University
of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. After Oshkosh, Kayte went on to receive her Master’s in 2007 in Counseling Psychology
from Ball State University. She worked as an Assistant Residence Hall Director as well as a Counseling Center intern
during her time at Ball State. In September of 2009, she returned from 2 years serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer,
where she taught spoken and medical English at a medical college in Northwest China. After China and before coming
to Montana State, Kayte worked in Minneapolis at a study, intern and volunteer abroad company where she was able to
combine her passions for travel and education. Now at MSU, Kayte is proud to be a Bobcat and incredibly excited to
work with the residents of South Hedges again this year! In her free time, Kayte enjoys traveling to anywhere
she hasn’t been before, reading, hiking, and camping.
