Setup Guide: Eudora
1. Open Eudora Lite.
2. Choose Tools from the menu across the top, then Options.
3. Fill out the "Getting Started" category as you see in the screen sample below.
4. Type your full name in the "Real name:" box, type your full email address into the "Return address:" box.
5. For "Mail Server (Incoming):" type mymail.msu.montana.edu.
6. In the "Login Name:" box type your user name (which is the part of your email address before the "@" symbol).
7. For "SMTP Server (Outgoing):" type mail.resnet.montana.edu.
8. Make sure the "Allow authentication" box is checked (it already should be.) You are through with this screen.
9. Now choose "Checking Mail" in the left side of the window.
10. If you do not want to have to type your password in every time you check mail, make sure the "Save password" box is checked.
11. Click on OK. You're done!
