Improve Network Performance!
Update! As a result of the heavy use of peer-to-peer file sharing applications like BitTorrent, KaZaA, and many others, the speed of network connections to and from off campus locations has deteriorated. Although MSU has a high-bandwidth connection to the internet, use of these file sharing programs from ResNet results in the saturation of available bandwidth, limiting regular usage of the campus network such as web access.
