Activities and Special Events

Monthly programs for the benefit of members and potential members relate to financial matters, social events,
and intellectual opportunities to share ideas, discoveries and experiences are scheduled.
Pre-retirement workshops discuss phased versus full retirement and provide appropriate information to faculty. Post-retirement
workshops include information related to medical coverage and general university benefits available to retired faculty.
Social events include: breakfast and coffee hour discussions and evening programs with featured speakers on topics of community
and campus interest.
Organized recreational activities of various types from casual limited exercise to extensive workouts are available.
At every level it is recognized that an individual program of consistent exercise is important for quality living for every person.
