New Projects This Year:
You may enjoy challenging yourself to one of these new projects you will find in the 2008-2009 4-H Clover. They are:
Robotics: Robotics introduces science, math, engineering and technology skills while teaching life skills. It was formerly a self-determined project in Cascade County; it is now a statewide project.
Centennial Project: This is a special centennial project celebrating the 100 year anniversary of Montana 4-H which will be occurring in 2012. It can be completed as an individual or club project. It is an opportunity to explore, record and share the unique, exciting and proud heritage of the 4-H program.
Outdoor Adventures: This project helps youth explore the fun and excitement of the outdoors. It is a great club project. Three levels are offered: Hiking, Trails, Camping Adventures and Backpacking Expeditions.
4-H Enrollment Sheets
Your enrollment sheets and new 4-H Clover books will be given to the club organizational leaders. Be sure you ask your organizational leader for your family’s enrollment packet. When filling out your re-enrollment forms check all your information to make sure it is correct. Also, remember to complete the photo release information on the back of your enrollment forms. Project materials will be available at a later date as you turn in your forms and request your project books. Recruit a friend. This is a great time to share all the fun and learning that takes place in 4-H with a friend. Invite them to join your club this year!

Club Secretaries
Just a reminder that our office should receive a copy of the minutes of your club meetings. Submit these however is most convenient. Club secretaries may write them on the forms provided in the secretary's book. We would be glad to make a coy for you, or they may be typed on your computer and submitted in hard copy, faxed to our office (787-6612) or emailed to chole@montana.edu.

Club Treasurers
All Club treasurers must turn in a Annual Summary Financial Report to the Extension Office at the the end of each 4-H year, or by October 1, of the current year. The form is located in the back of your treasurer's book or contact the extension office if you have any questions. |
