The Alpine Ski Club of MSU

Ski Racing Regionals 2007

The Alpine Ski Club of MSU is a nonprofit organization based on the campus of Montana State University. This club was formed to provide male and female alpine ski racers an opportunity to continue or begin their competitive careers. While MSU does have an NCAA ski team for men and women, there is still limited opportunities for those interested in continuing to race beyond high school. Our club provides alpine ski racers an opportunity to race competitively in the United States Collegiate Ski Racing Association (USCSA).

Our club has a very competitive history over the past eight years. In 2005 and 2007, our club placed second (out of twenty teams) in the USCSA Western Regional Championships. In 2008, we claimed the title. For the last three seasons we have finished in the top three in the Grand Teton Conference. This year, our goals are set higher and we hope to be in the top five at the Regional Championships, as well as win our conference.
