Did You Know? Spotlight on tuition waivers

Did you know that MSU employees who are permanently employed at 3/4 time (0.75 FTE; 30 hrs. / wk.) or more qualify to receive tuition waivers for up to 6 credits of residential tuition per semester? That can add up to an additional benefit valued at $1269.30 per semester...a sizeable benefit to employees. Employee Tuition Waivers apply to employees who have not yet received a degree and to those who have. Of note is that employees are required to pay fees which can add up towards $200.  To apply for an Employee Tuition Waiver, simply do the following:

  1. Complete the Faculty & Staff Tuition Waiver Request found at http://www.montana.edu/hr/. This request requires Supervisor and Director/Dean’s Signatures.
  2. Apply for admission and/or your intent to register; visit http://www.montana.edu/admissions/apply.shtml and choose the category that best describes your current situation as a registering student.

Reminder: MSU is a tobacco-free campus
