Outdoor Program Agreement

PLEASE NOTE: This form is for APPROVAL AND NOTIFICATION purposes only, and does not serve as a reservation. Use of space is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

  1. In all areas, an "Outdoor Program Agreement" must be filed with the Student Activities Director, 282 Strand Union, AT LEAST TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO THE EVENT.
  2. Common hour exam schedules must always be checked. No programming should be done during common hour exams.
  3. Due to classes, events with sound will be allowed Monday through Friday from noon to 1 pm ONLY at Roskie Hall, Centennial Mall, and Hannon. AMPLIFIED SOUND IS NOT PERMITTED IN ANY OTHER LOCATION AT ANY OTHER TIME DURING THE WEEK !!!!!
  4. Any event/program that requires digging holes or driving any stakes into the ground (no matter how shallow) must receive explicit permission from FACILITIES SERVICES.

* The use of stakes, poles or ANY device inserted into the ground REQUIRES locates to insure no damage occurs to underground utilities. Locates are mandatory, and fees may be associated with this service. Please give a minimum of 3 days notice. Call Mark Mayer at 994-5455 to schedule a locate.

Environmental Impact:

*Sponsoring group(s) will be responsible for making sure ALL litter resulting from outdoor event is cleaned up!

IF YOUR EVENT WILL INCLUDE FOOD OR BEVERAGES, PLEASE NOTE THERE IS A UNIVERSITY CATERING POLICY. PLEASE SPEAK TO THE DIRECTOR OF STUDENT ACTIVITIES FOR CLARIFICATION.
