Multimedia Design "Everything in your presentation should support the message you are trying to convey."  Jack Treuhaft, Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology, gives some suggestions on things to consider when designing a multimedia presentation.

The Node Highly recommended site on teaching and technology. The Node has launched a series of new publications designed to give you practical advice in using technology to teach.

The Faculty Connection  This web site is designed to assist faculty of post secondary institutions to become familiar with issues, examples, and discussion topics associated with using emerging technologies in teaching and learning. Using this educational resource, faculty are encouraged to travel the web at a comfortable pace to identify where courses are offered over the Internet, how technology can be used in the classroom, and to discuss issues that will affect them in the future.

Teaching with Technology  Penn State teaching web site that focuses on the use and applications of technology in the university classroom.

Online Magazine Featuring uses of technology by faculty at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. New issues are posted bi-weekly with each issue focused on a particular use of technology. For example, the April 7, 1997 issue dealt with use of technology for writing to learn assignments.

Learning Technology Consortium The LTC web site is dedicated to issues related to teaching, learning, and technology, with specific links related to effective practices, training, and classroom design and support. The Learning Technology Consortium was formed in 1998 as a way to allow a small group of colleges and universities with similar interests in teaching and learning as they relate to technology to collaborate and share ideas on a variety of topics.

Internet-Based Resources James O'Donnell, a classicist at the University of Pennsylvania, created this page to introduce, describe, and exemplify new  internet-based resources for teaching that are already available and easy to use.

College and University Academic Technology Support Centers This page provides links to college and university academic technology support centers. These links are maintained by Dr. Mike Albright, Associate Director, Academic Technology & Media Services, California State University Monterey Bay. No permission is required to link to these pages.

The Anderson Center for Innovation in Undergraduate Education The Anderson Center is dedicated to improving undergraduate education through the deployment of new pedagogical methods and innovative uses of technology. This site provides support for faculty involvement in the renewal of undergraduate learning via a series of workshops on studio teaching methods, the design, creation and delivery of multimedia materials, and the instructional uses of the World Wide Web.
