Tips About Teaching That Address Diversity  Ohio State University, Fisher College of Business. These teaching tips require readers to go beyond addressing issues of diversity or multiculturalism and ask them to become aware of how students are treated as well as how they treat each other.
 
National Clearinghouse for Bilingual Education  Site from George Washington University which provides an online library, technical assistance, language and education links, databases, success stories, and classroom help for the education of linguistically and culturally diverse students.

Native American Cultural Sensitivity  An apt discussion of issues and ideas pertinent to the Native American population. This can be abstracted to sensitivity issues with other minority groups we encounter in our classes.

Cultural Sensitivity  According to the authors, "the future of our society depends upon our ability to effectively talk with one another, to reach mutual understanding, and to realize that in diversity there is strength". Though geared more towards education k-12, there is much there for post secondary education and instructors.

Cultural Sensitivity Bibliography  A bibliography of publications dealing specifically with multi-culturalism and cultural sensitivity.

Encouraging Cultural Sensitivity  From the publishers of Time magazine, a series of essays highlighting different aspects of cultural sensitivity. Very applicable to the university experience.

Cultural Competence  An innovative site with a question/answer format.

Smithsonian Institution  The Smithsonian Institution is charged with keeping up with U.S. culture in the present as well as maintaining our understanding of U.S. culture as it has changed through history. The Smithsonian's excellent web pages can be an excellent place to research or browse for cultural information.

Yahoo Cultural Directory  This is a directory page from the Yahoo Directory maintained at Stanford University. It has a very comprehensive list of cultural topics that may be of interest, including organizations, cultures, alternative, disabilities, folklore, and many more.
