Medical Emergencies

Emergency Procedures Guide, MSU  Protocol and description for every conceivable emergency on the Montana State University campus. This should be a first look for any emergency you may encounter.

Student Health Services (Montana State University)  The home page of MSU's Health Service. Besides providing the basics, this site also has helpful links to useful services and information regarding health care, maintenance, and medical emergencies.

Finding Health Information on the Web  Created by Robert J. Flaherty, MD, this on-line presentation will show you how to find quality web sites and evaluate their information.

American Academy of Family Physicians   A professional organization of family doctors. Their web site has hundreds of excellent patient education pages on a wide range of topics.

HealthLinks  From the University of Washington, an extensive site with a first rate search engine and  a variety of topics to explore, including documents concerning current health issues.

Healthfinder A wide range of information resources and links from the federal government. This site includes a health library, selected health topics, health care suggestions, and a directory of related organizations.

American Medical Association Official web site, this includes a wealth of information for any possible emergency, and health related matters.  Includes an advanced search engine and information on any conceivable medical question, including disease, safety and wellness, drug and food information, resources locators, and much more.

Consumer Gateway  This site is a "one stop" link to a broad range of federal information resources available online. It is designed so that you can locate information by category -- such as Food, Health, Product Safety, Your Money, and Transportation. Each category has subcategories to direct you to areas within individual federal web sites containing related information.

National Library of Medicine  This site provides information for any medical emergency, including health information, library services, a description of research programs, current news, and general information.
