The Porta-Kit®

The Porta-Kit® is Orbit One's Signature Series solution to the problem of portable indoor and "in-vehicle" satellite phone usage. Packaged in a portable weatherproof case, the unit allows the user to send and receive crystal-clear satellite phone calls from inside buildings, command posts, and moving vehicles. The unit is also equipped with a 9-pin data port, allowing the user to connect to the Internet while in the field or on the road. For added convenience, the Porta-Kit® can be powered by either 120v (household electrical) or 12v (vehicle cigarette plug). In addition, the Globalstar Satellite handset can be easily removed from the kit for truly portable "cellular phone"-like use. Unlike any other "portable" kit, Orbit One's does not require the user to enter access codes or to aim an antenna, simply plug it in, run the antenna cable outside and make use of the world's clearest and most reliable satellite telecommunications device.
