GSP 2900 is much like the GSP 1600 Handset only it utilizes an outdoor fixed
antenna. This allows users to be inside and protected from the weather when
making calls. Intended for permanent or semi-permanent installations, this
model gives users the convenience of using any standard store bought handset.
Whether you like cordless phones or answering machines this model lets you
communicate as if you are at home.
Important items to remember:
- All of the same characteristics of the GSP 1600
Handset but not portable
- This unit does not require caller to be
outdoors for line-of-sight requirements that are needed with the GSP 1600
hand-held unit
- Remote mounted antenna allows users to always
stay connected to the satellite network. Eliminates missed calls
- Standard 2900 RAU (Remote Antenna Unit)
requires some assembly with an outdoor remote mounted antenna, much like a
Satellite TV dish.
- 1625 Low Profile Antenna can be sold as an
accessory. This product is intended for a Semi-permanent installation.
