Index Number Changes

 

If you have any changes of index numbers for your long distance, line charges, or voicemail charges, please let Chris Bauer know as soon as possible. Simply send Chris an email at cbauer@montana.edu and provide the following information:

 

  1. Phone number
  2. What index number charges are currently being charged to
  3. What index number you want the charges to be billed to
  4. What charges do you want changed – e.g. long distance, line charge, voicemail, credit card calls

 

With Fiscal Year at its end, many of you have index numbers that change or terminate. By providing Chris with this information as soon as you become aware, it saves all of us time in making corrections the following month. If you know of any index numbers that are changing for the next fiscal year, please let Chris know.

Fiscal Year-End Ordering

 

This is a reminder that Fiscal Year 2007 ends on June 30, 2007. However, the last business day is June 29. If there are any special accessories you wish to order (such as headsets, conference phones, etc.) before the end of the year, please do so no later than 12:00 pm on Friday, June 15, 2007. This includes any Telephone & Network Service Requests that ask for new equipment to be ordered.

 

For any moves, adds, or changes (MACs), including data jack activations, that you wish to have completed within this Fiscal Year, please submit them to ITC-Telephone Services no later than 5:00 pm on Monday, June 18, 2007. If they are received after this date, we cannot guarantee they will be completed or billed within the current Fiscal Year. The last billing for MACs will be completed on June 29, 2007.

 

On requests for MACs, please state whether the work is to be completed within the current Fiscal Year or Fiscal Year 2008. This will ensure that billing is done appropriately.

For the installation of new jacks or wireless access points, all requests must be received by Friday May 25, 2007 to ensure installation can be completed prior to the end of Fiscal Year. Please complete a Telephone & Network Service Request for the installation of new jacks, and be sure to send a drawing of the room indicating where you wish to have the jack(s) installed (this may be faxed to extension 1955). Questions regarding jack installations or wireless access points may be directed to Cindy Tirrell at extension 2882 or email at ctirrell@montana.edu.

 

Campus Directory Updates Needed

 

It is that time of year again for campus directory updates! The campus directory is published annually and distributed at the beginning of October.

 

Please take a moment to review your department’s most up-to-date listing online at http://gemini.msu.montana.edu/msuinfo/dplist.html. Print and make any necessary changes, and either fax to extension 1955 or mail it to ITC-Telephone Services, RN 58.

 

Updates for the directory are provided throughout the year and completed at the time they are given to us. So by reviewing the departmental list online, this ensures you are reviewing the latest directory listings.
