Bill Hardesty

Bill served several years in the U.S. Air Force and went on to have a successful career in public education in the Cheyenne area. He is an alumnus of Fremont Vocational High School in Lander, and holds both a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Speech Pathology and a master’s degree in Natural Sciences and Curriculum and Instruction with a minor in Educational Administration from the University of Wyoming.

Bill taught elementary school in the Cheyenne area for several years, and went on to become a principal, and more recently, Educational Director for challenged youth. He is active in the community and dedicated to supporting youth through programs such as the American Legion’s Boys State.

We are excited to welcome Bill on board. He brings a wealth of knowledge and embodies Troops to Teachers’ mission serving those who are “Proud to Serve Again.”

Bill lives in Cheyenne with his wife. He has four children and three grandchildren.
