Janna joined Lewis and Clark Troops to Teachers in December 2008, stepping in for Susan Gibb, who retired in September. Janna and her husband, Matt, moved to Bozeman in July from Fairbanks, Alaska, where they had lived for the last seven years.  While in Alaska, Janna worked as Program Director for the Armed Services YMCA (ASYMCA), a non-profit organization serving Military Personnel and their Families. Janna helped to build a dynamic team delivering innovative support and morale-boosting programs to the northern half of Alaska. Janna is excited to be part of the Troops to Teachers team, and looks forward to continuing to support our nation’s military in this new capacity.

Janna and Matt are expecting their first child in May. Matt is at Montana State University Bozeman working on his PhD in Microbiology.
