Scott became the Idaho Area Representative for Lewis & Clark Troops to Teachers in August 2005. A Lieutenant Colonel, he also currently serves as the Education Services Officer for the Idaho Army National Guard. Prior to joining the Army National Guard and after graduating from college, Scott joined the U.S. Marine Corps and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant after completing Officer Candidate School in Quantico, Virginia. He and his wife Terri reside in Boise and are the proud parents of four children and have seven grandchildren.
Scott is an avid history buff; other outside interests include running and other sports, travel, and seeing the grandchildren often.
